As you know, we collect student devices in May and reissue devices in July. Again this year (before school starts) everyone will attend deployment at Maryville High School to pickup devices. Typically, this process takes 20-30 minutes to complete, but we are always striving to create the most efficient experience possible.
As usual, there are several ways for you to further expedite the deployment process:
* Pre-register each of your students (ireach2018.eventbrite.com)
* Pay the annual usage charge in advance (Online School Payments)
...AND BRING THE FOLLOWING TO DEPLOYMENT:
a. Parent or legal guardian
c. Device sleeve (grades 6-12)
d. Device charger (grades 5-12) -- For students in grades 8-12, the old Dell charger MUST be turned in to receive a new Lenovo charger.
8am – 11:30am and 3:30pm – 7pm
10am – 1:30pm and 3:30pm – 7pm
(ELL translation services available on July 23 only)
If those dates and times aren’t good for your family, you will want to take advantage of our drop-in deployment day (pre-registration not required, but could be a slower process overall).
9am – 11:30am and 1pm – 3:30pm
(July 28 is recommended for New Families)
4:30pm – 6:30pm
We use Event Brite to reserve a time for parents and students to attend deployment. Link here to pre-register: https://ireach2018.eventbrite.com You will receive a confirmation email, so make sure your email address is carefully entered during the registration process.
The annual usage charge is $40 per student. You can pay in advance via this link: https://bit.ly/PayOnline2018
Most of our families and staff have gone through deployment in the last few years and feel comfortable with the process. However, if you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact the technology coordinator in your school or call the central office @ 982-7121 for assistance.
Fast Track registration for 2018 is closed, and all Fast Track participants have been notified. If you're not sure if you signed up for Fast Track or not, stop by the Fast Track table at deployment and see if your name is on the list. If it isn't, regular deployment is still fast (less than 30 minutes), so it's a win either way!
