Family Resource Center
MISSION
To support the learning and well-being of all Maryville students and help strengthen each family’s ability to support the emotional, physical, medical, social, and academic needs of their children by connecting them with available resources and community partners.
HISTORY
Family Resource Centers were established in 1993, when the Tennessee General Assembly passed legislation granting local education agencies the authority to establish these centers. Maryville City Schools FRC is one of the over one hundred centers across the state. Each center works to establish collaborative partnerships with parents, community and business leaders, state and local services agencies, public and private organizations.
Please feel free to contact us at (865) 982-6473. We look forward to working with you, your student and those who support this student. Calls from community partners, donors and volunteers are also welcome.
