100 year T-Shirt DEADLINE

Our 100 year t-shirts are very nice, great design, and super comfortable.  If you need a shirt quickly, email Catherine Bledsoe at MHS, but you can also order online.  When you visit the site, you'll see there are other apparel options too.  This first deadline (September 12) will allow for shipment in September.

Football games

An update from Larry Headrick, Athletic Director.

Maryville will host Alcoa on Friday and we are getting geared up for one of the biggest match-ups in the state.  We are thrilled when MCS employees support student athletics by attending games.  Your employee badge gets you and your spouse in the gate.  In the past, this policy didn't apply to the Alcoa game, but we are honoring it this year ... so take advantage of the free pass.  As always, other family members (beyond you and your spouse) must pay for entry.

Go Rebels!

Rebel Football Schedule

  • 9/7  Alcoa at MHS
  • 9/21 at Fulton
  • 9/28  William Blount at MHS
  • 10/4  Cleveland at MHS
  • 10/12  Ooltewah at MHS
  • 10/19  at Heritage
  • 10/26  at Bradley Co.

spotlight teaser

We are in the planning stages for our big in-service on February 18th, known as SPOTLIGHT.  For our new employees, this event gives us an opportunity to gather as a district family and celebrate longevity, while learning, being inspired, and having fun!

This year, our guest speaker is HOT!  His inspiring life story will thrill the audience and give us all a new appreciation for the power of the human spirit.

We will share the name of the author and other important details very soon.

Our planning team for the MHS Centennial has a special request.  If you have any MHS memorabilia that we could use this school year, we would love to borrow it.  Perhaps you or your parents have a letter jacket, photo album, framed photo, band uniform, event program, graduation tassel, book, annual, newspaper, report card, etc. that you would be willing to share.  Please bring your items to the central office or deliver to Maria Greene at MHS.  Make sure you leave your name and a description of the item, so we can ensure safe return.  Thanks so much for considering this special request.
