MISSION of the Family Resource Center
To help students succeed in school by capitalizing on their strengths, learning new skills, and connecting families with community resources in ways that support emotional, social and academic needs.
Family Resource Centers were established in 1993, when the Tennessee General Assembly passed legislation granting local education agencies the authority to establish these centers. Maryville City Schools FRC is one of the over one hundred centers across the state. Each center works to establish collaborative partnerships with parents, community and business leaders, state and local services agencies, public and private organizations.
Please feel free to contact us at (865) 982-6473. We look forward to working with you, your student and those who support this student. Calls from community partners, donors and volunteers are also welcome.
